Staten Island Council for Peace and Justice Demands Immediate End to U.S. Wars at April 9 Demonstration
The Staten Island Council for Peace and Justice, a chapter of the U.S. Peace Council, joined with tens of thousands across the country demanding an immediate end to the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The April 9 demonstrations were called by the United National Antiwar Committee (UNAC).
